"Step onto the bog boardwalk and immerse yourself in the serene beauty of one of nature's most captivating landscapes on this guided tour," a release said. "This unforgettable expedition offers a rare opportunity to venture into the heart of a pristine bog ecosystem, where secrets abound and every step unveils a new wonder."

Throughout the tour, a naturalist will illuminate the hidden mysteries of the bog, sharing insights into the unique flora and fauna that call this ecosystem home.

The boardwalk is one mile long, so expect to walk a total of two miles. There is no shade, so be prepared for warm temperatures if it is sunny. Wear comfortable shoes and bring water.

Attendees can meet by the picnic shelter at the Northern Unit.

From 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., a Wheel of Fun: Fish Trivia at the Beach event will be held.

There will also be free prizes and a painting activity. The group will meet at the beach; look for a table and a blue flag. Attendees can stop by any time between 1:30 and 2:30 p.m.
