Ohio State takes over top spot in USA Hockey/The Rink Live women's poll

The Badgers fell to No. 3 after their first two losses of the season to the Buckeyes. Colgate moved up to No. 2 while Minnesota and Clarkson round out the top five.

Fresh off a sweep of then No. 1 Wisconsin, Ohio State grabbed the top billing in the USA Hockey/The Rink Live women's hockey poll this week.

The Badgers fell to No. 3 after their first two losses of the season. Colgate moved up to No. 2 while Minnesota and Clarkson round out the top five.

The Badgers have held the No. 1 ranking in the poll since their national championship last winter.

Cornell had the biggest move in the poll this week, dropping three spots to No. 9. The Big Red lost to two ranked teams, Quinnipiac and Princeton, over the weekend.

The ECAC has seven teams in the rankings while the WCHA has five and HEA has three.
