The Pioneers are followed by Michigan State, Boston College, Minnesota and Michigan.

Cornell, which suffered its first loss, fell two spots to No. 7. The Fighting Hawks (5-6-0) fell four spots to No. 14.
Hockey East and the NCHC have five teams in the rankings. The Big Ten and ECAC Hockey have four and the CCHA has two.
