Boston College, fresh off dominant wins on the road against Notre Dame and Harvard, claimed solo ownership of the No. 1 ranking in this week's USA Hockey / The Rink Live men's hockey poll.

North Dakota, which shared the top ranking last week with the Eagles, is now No. 2. The Fighting Hawks edged Bemidji State in overtime on Friday and won handily on Saturday with a 5-0 win over the Beavers.

Denver, Quinnipiac swapped slots as the third- and fourth-ranked teams while Boston University remained fifth. Minnesota climbed two spots to sixth after a tie and overtime win over No. 7 Michigan State over the weekend.
