BEMIDJI – The Bemidji State women's soccer team opened conference play with a 3-0 victory over Minnesota Crookston Friday evening, as three different Beavers found the back of the net.
Katrina Barthelt struck first, breaking the scoreless tie in the 11th minute off of an assist by Kenzi Harer.

BSU didn’t score again until the second half when Megan Ko added some cushion to the lead with a goal in the 52nd minute.
Isabel Morales iced the game for the Beavers, tacking on the third and final goal in the 88th minute.
Bemidji State’s goalkeeper Alfieri Sonia had a relatively peaceful evening in net, making just one save through 90 minutes.
On the other hand, UMC’s Jordan Metzook faced 11 shots on goal, notching eight saves on the day.
