Bemidji State blanks Minnesota Moorhead to extend winning streak

It’s been a while since the Bemidji State women’s soccer team lost a game.

MOORHEAD – It’s been a while since the Bemidji State women’s soccer team lost a game.

The Beavers extended their winning streak to five games on Sunday with a 2-0 win over Minnesota State Moorhead.

Sylve Waters’ first goal this season in the 40th minute gave BSU a 1-0 lead with an assist from Madisen Fritel. Fritel later scored in the 80th minute with a helper from Maggie Kramer.

Bemidji State took 30 shots on Sunday, with nine of them being on target. Rylee Truslow made seven saves for the Dragons (1-9-1, 1-6-1 NSIC). Sonia Alfieri made one save for the Beavers (8-3-0, 6-1-0 NSIC).
