15 named to WCHA All-Academic Team from Bemidji State

Fifteen players from the Bemidji State women's hockey team have been named to the WCHA All-Academic Team.

BEMIDJI — The WCHA announced its list of student-athletes who have earned All-Academic Team honors on Tuesday afternoon. Fifteen Bemidji State women's hockey players were recognized on the list.

The list consists of 129 student-athletes through the league who have a GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale in their previous two semesters or three quarters and who have achieved at least sophomore status in their academic career.

The following Beavers were included in the honors: Sophomore forward Hailey Armstrong, senior forward Shelby Breiland, junior forward Raeley Carney, sophomore defender Ana Davis, senior defender Makenna Deering, sophomore defender Olivia Dronen, sophomore goaltender Eva Filippova, senior defender Kendra Fortin, junior forward Mya Headrick, senior forward Genevieve Hendrickson, sophomore Talya Hendrickson, sophomore forward Kate Johnson, sophomore defender Riley Reeves, senior forward Alyssa Watkins and sophomore forward Shelby Sandberg.
