ST. CLOUD – With less than two minutes left in regulation, it looked as if the Bemidji State women’s hockey team would add at least one more WCHA point to its season total.
Then Sofianna Sundelin gave the 11th-ranked Huskies the lead.

With 89 seconds left in regulation, Sundelin completed the comeback for St. Cloud State in a 3-2 win and a season series sweep.
BSU led 2-0 on Saturday night.
Izy Fairchild gave the Beavers a one-goal lead midway through the first period, with an assist from Hailey Armstrong. Isa Goettl doubled the lead in the second period. Heidi Strompf and Raeley Carney assisted on Goettl’s goal.
However, the Huskies tied the game in the final six minutes before the second intermission.
Siiri Yrjölä scored a power-play goal, before Laura Zimmermann added another on the player-advantage.
With two goals on Saturday, BSU snapped its 189-minute scoring drought, which spanned three games. Eva Filippova stopped 18 shots in goal for Bemidji State (4-20-1, 2-16-0 WCHA). Sanni Ahola made nine saves for SCSU (12-8-4, 7-8-3 WCHA).
