COLUMBUS, Ohio – Goals were hard to come by for the Bemidji State women’s hockey team this weekend.
After suffering a 6-0 loss on Friday night at the hands of second-ranked Ohio State, the Buckeyes blanked the Beavers again on Saturday 4-0.

Eva Filippopva faced 44 shots and stopped 40 of them for the Beavers (4-18-1, 2-14-0 WCHA). Her counterpart, Hailey McLeod, made all 14 saves for OSU (15-5-3, 10-5-3 WCHA).
Ohio State scored four goals from four different players. Jenna Buglioni, Joy Dunne and Emily Zumwinkle each scored power-play goals in the first, second and third periods, respectively. Makenna Webster scored an even-strength goal in the second period as well.
