On Oct. 10-11, Voyageurs Expeditionary حلحلآ» in Bemidji sent five students to the MAAP Stars Fall Leadership Conference at Lake Beauty Camp in Long Prairie.
While at the conference students not only acquire better leadership skills as they were chosen to be there, but also discover more about themselves, a release said. Also at this conference it is the annual election of the MAAP Stars officers, who govern over the group for the year. Students from all different schools statewide are encouraged to run. Voyageurs Expeditionary حلحلآ»'s Robert Johnson ran this year and was elected by his peers. He will attend officer training in November. He is also apart of the Minnesota Youth Council working with legislators in the state government.
