The train stopped blocking three roads through Morris – Fifth Street, Sixth Street and County Road 22 – for about three hours on Wednesday afternoon. Morris Police Department Sgt. Jason Reed said the train remained in place while investigators with BNSF continued their inspection.

The Morris Police Department is actively investigating the incident and will release more details in the future.

Responding to the scene were the Morris Police Department, Stevens County Sheriff's Office, Morris Fire Department and Stevens County Ambulance Service.
