CASS LAKE 鈥� The Chippewa National Forest is looking for volunteers who would like to spend the summer as campground hosts at one of its forest campgrounds.
Volunteer campground host positions vary in start dates, with most beginning in early to late May and continuing through Labor Day. Potential hosts interested in hosting for half the summer will be considered.

Hosts are provided a campsite and perform daily tasks such as visiting with campers, cleaning and maintaining restrooms, restocking supplies and posting reservations.
Generally, these duties take less than a couple hours a day, leaving plenty of time for relaxing around the campfire or fishing, a release said.
The forest does not have camp hosts handle money or act as law enforcement. All supplies and training are provided.
The host campsites vary in location and amenities, with some having full hook-ups or electricity available, showers and laundry facilities. Some sites are located directly on the water and provide wonderful sunrise or sunset views, the release said.
Those who apply will need to supply their own trailer, camper or motor home. The Forest Service does provide a landline phone and a reimbursement of $20 a day to help cover living expenses.
