Folstrom graduates from Morris

MORRIS-Mary Folstrom, of Cass Lake, recently received a bachelor's degree in Native American indigenous studies, from the University of Minnesota Morris.

Miller presents paper

DULUTH-More than 60 undergraduate students at University of Minnesota Duluth presented a poster for the spring 2018 Undergraduate Research and Artistic Showcase on Friday, April 13. The event was sponsored by the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program.

Wyatt Miller, a senior majoring in physics from Bemidji was involved in this year's showcase.

Miller presented a poster display entitled, 'Deuteron Electrodisintegration' and also gave an oral presentation. UROP provides financial support for research, scholarly, or creative projects that are completed with a faculty member.

Local students graduate from MSU Mankato

MANKATO-Minnesota State University, Mankato will award 2,335 degrees at the end of the spring 2018 semester, with 2,277 students participating in three graduation ceremonies on Saturday, May 5, in Taylor Center's Bresnan Arena.
