BENSON, Minn. - The Case IH Boys Basketball Tournament schedule Friday night was cancelled and the Benson High حلحلآ» campus was evacuated due to a threat.
At 6:55 p.m. Friday, an individual made "direct terroristic threats" via a phone call against the Benson High حلحلآ» campus, Benson Police Chief Ian Hodge said in a news release posted on the department's Facebook page.

A basketball tournament game was in progress at the high school at the time. The game in progress was halted and all in attendance were asked to evacuate the building immediately. The rest of the tournament schedule Friday night was canceled.
Law enforcement was able to trace the call to a mobile phone from the Fargo-Moorhead area, according to tournament officials.
The individual responsible for the threats was apprehended by authorities, Hodge said in the news release. There is no further threat to the public, he said.
This remains an ongoing investigation and further information will be release at a later time, Hodge said.
Benson Police Department officers, Swift and Grant County deputies and the Minnesota State Patrol worked jointly to investigate, identify and apprehend the individual, who allegedly responsible to the threat.
The Case IH tournament games will be rescheduled Saturday, according to Benson High حلحلآ» staff. Game times will be posted on the Benson High حلحلآ» website:
