With community and alumni support, Oak Hills Christian College in Bemidji recently met a $250,000 matching grant opportunity toward its capital campaign "A Campaign for Real Transformation."
The campaign is meant to update the Oak Hills campus, which included the new Robert H. Thompson Memorial Residence Hall. A donor provided the matching grant to Oak Hills, which began on Dec. 1, 2016, and ended Dec. 31, 2017.

With the matching grant completed, Oak Hills has raised $3.74 million toward the $4.3 million dollar project. Oak Hills will continue to welcome gifts to the Capital Campaign to help reduce the amount that will be needed for a long-term mortgage on the Robert H. Thompson Memorial Residence Hall, a release said.
