He is charged with two felony counts – criminal sexual conduct in the first degree and criminal sexual conduct in the second degree.

The victim was under the age of 13 at the time of the alleged assault.

According to the criminal complaint, the girl told a Renville County social worker that Oleson touched her inappropriately on numerous occasions beginning in 2017 and ending earlier this year.

Oleson was arrested March 15 after allegedly admitting to Olivia police that he had repeated sexual contact with the girl.

According to the police report, Oleson stated “he was not sure why he did these acts and regretted every bit of it.”

His next court appearance is scheduled for April 12.
