MANTORVILLE, Minn. -- A $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of Lois Riess, a southeast Minnesota woman being sought after her husband was murdered in March is now a suspect in a second death, has been offered by the U.S. Marshals Service.
The Dodge County (Minn.) Sheriff’s Office also said Tuesday, April 17, Florida Crime Stoppers is also offering a reward up to $1,000.
Reiss, 56, of Blooming Prairie, has been identified as a suspect in death of Pamela Hutchinson in Bradenton, Fla., according to the Lee County Sheriff's Office in southern Florida.
Investigators believe Riess may have killed Hutchinson in order to assume her identity. The Lee County Attorney's Office announced charges against Riess in Hutchinson's death on Friday.
In Minnesota, the Dodge County Sheriff's Office and Dodge County Attorney's Office are preparing second-degree murder charges against Riess in the killing of her husband, David Riess. Investigators believe Hutchinson may have been killed with the same firearm used to murder him.
