Wojo’s Rodeo brings broncs and barrels to Beltrami County Fair
For the third consecutive year, Wojo’s Rodeo drew a huge crowd for an evening of rodeo festivities at the Beltrami County Fair Grandstand on Friday night.

BEMIDJI – For the third consecutive year, Wojo’s Rodeo drew a huge crowd for an evening of rodeo festivities at the Beltrami County Fair’s Grandstand on Friday night.
Participants competed in traditional rodeo events, including goat tying, bronc riding, breakaway roping, barrel riding and more.

Wojo’s Rodeo returns to the Grandstand at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. Tickets can be purchased at the Grandstand Ticket Office for $25 for adults and $20 for children 12 and younger.

The fair continues through Sunday, Aug. 11, with plenty of activities still to come. Bingo will be held at Building 13 from 2 to 9 p.m. on Saturday and from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
Remaining Heritage Square activities include Loon Country Arts from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and myBemidji from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

Home Arts demonstrations include needle felting with Lanee Paulson from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, wood burning and gourd art with Les Sander from 4 to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Jackpine spinners and weavers from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday.
Barnyard Olympics will be held after the dairy show on Saturday. Paint a Pig is set for 10:30 a.m. on Sunday and a chicken and sheep sock race will take place at 3 p.m. The weekend will also feature several 4-H shows including a sheep show, horse drill team demonstrations and awards.
