You're not alone if you're having trouble posting your first comment on a story.

To you only need to sign out of your Bemidji Pioneer account and sign back in. This will only be required the first time.

Step-by-step directions:

Click on the 'Account' on the top right of the homepage. Or find it near the bottom of the mobile menu.
Click on 'Sign out' on the left menu.
Click on 'Sign in' on the top right of the homepage. Or click on 'Account' in the bottom of the mobile menu.
Sign in with your account information.
Go to articles and comment!

Our newsroom sometimes reports stories under the byline "Pioneer Staff Report." This byline is used when reporters rewrite basic news briefs that originate from official sources, such as an email or press release that requires little or no reporting.

Other times, this byline is used when a news story includes numerous authors or when the story is formed by aggregating previously reported news from various sources. If outside sources are used, it is noted within the story.
