HINES — The Minnesota Grazing Lands Conservation Association's Roots and Rotation grazing workshop will take place on Tuesday, June 10, at Gross Farm, 26276 Hines Road NE.

The workshop will focus on soil health practices and grazing strategies, including insights from the Environmental Quality Incentives Program, soil health demonstrations and more.

Here's a look at the schedule for the day:

  • 8:30 a.m. Registration and donuts/coffee
  • 9 a.m. Welcome and introductions
  • 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. Basics of soil health
  • 10 to 11 a.m. Why does it matter?
  • 11 to 11:15 a.m. Break and snacks
  • 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Why should we care about soil health?
  • 12:15 to 1 p.m. Lunch
  • 1 to 3 p.m. Farm tour
  • 3 p.m. Wrap-up and sponsors
