Parks and Rec to hold Frozen Ox 5K Feb. 15

The city of Bemidji Parks and Recreation Department will host a Frozen Ox 5K with registration starting at 9 a.m. and the race at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 15, at Paul Bunyan Park.

BEMIDJI — The city of in collaboration with the Blue Ox Marathon, will host a Frozen Ox 5K with registration starting at 9 a.m. and the race at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 15, at Paul Bunyan Park.

Participants can run or walk this 5K challenge in person or virtually and a timing clock will be available, a release said.

The first 36 participants will receive a winter hat. The first three finishers in the male and female categories will receive an award.
