Mobile food drop set for June 2 in Clearbrook

North Country Food Bank is offering a mobile food distribution from noon to 1 p.m. on Monday, June 2, at the Community Pool parking lot, 201 Center Ave., Clearbrook.

North Country Food Bank is offering a mobile food distribution from noon to 1 p.m. on Monday, June 2, at the Community Pool parking lot, 201 Center Ave., Clearbrook.

CLEARBROOK — North Country Food Bank is is partnering with the Inter-County Community Council to offer a mobile food distribution on Monday, June 2, at the Community Pool parking lot, 201 Center Ave., in Clearbrook.

Food will be available from noon to 1 p.m., or until food runs out, weather permitting.

At the events, people can drive up and receive food.

Those receiving food will be asked to identify themselves and answer a few simple household questions by staff from North Country Food Bank. The Food Bank is collecting this information to allow access to more food items for these mobiles, the release said.

ICCC is celebrating 60 years, and to celebrate, they are sponsoring food drops. Volunteers are needed to distribute food. Anyone willing and able to help should contact Kristin Osowski at (218) 399-7360 or via email at kosowski@northcountryfoodbank.org .
