"The weather is finally warming, and many are excited, looking forward to getting back into the gardens," a release said. "Maybe you’re thinking about starting a garden for the first time, after some brutally cold months and thumbing through gardening magazines and seed catalogs that appeared in the mail."

Living Local Women workshops are free to attend and supported by a grant from the Northwest Minnesota Foundation Women’s Fund.

Attendees should use the east entrance to City Hall for the most direct access.

Our newsroom sometimes reports stories under the byline "Pioneer Staff Report." This byline is used when reporters rewrite basic news briefs that originate from official sources, such as an email or press release that requires little or no reporting.

Other times, this byline is used when a news story includes numerous authors or when the story is formed by aggregating previously reported news from various sources. If outside sources are used, it is noted within the story.
