Lincoln Elementary حلحلآ‏»­ opens Little Free Library

Little Free Libraries are considered a global phenomenon, numbering more than 150,000 in over 100 countries across the world from Iceland to Tasmania to Pakistan.

BEMIDJI — Lincoln Elementary حلحلآ‏»­ recently celebrated the grand opening of its Little Free Library on Nov. 14 with family-friendly activities.

Little Free Libraries are considered a global phenomenon, numbering more than 150,000 in over 100 countries across the world from Iceland to Tasmania to Pakistan.

Lincoln Elementary joined the movement with the goal to share books, bring people together and create communities of readers, a release said.

"Our Little Free Library doesn't just belong to us. It belongs to the whole community," the release said. "It's our hope that this Little Free Library will bring a little more joy, a little more connection and a whole lot more books to our community."
