LAPORTE — Hubbard County Soil and Water Conservation will hold its annual Grazing Workshop from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 6, at Guthrie Community Center, 44255 Front St., in Laporte.
This free program will focus on sustainable grazing practices that maximize ranchers’ bottom dollars, a release said.

Steve Kenyon, operator of Greener Pastures Ranching in Alberta, Canada, will be the guest speaker. Kenyon is renowned for his expertise in regenerative farming and innovative grazing practices that emphasize economic and environmental sustainability, explained the release.
Attendees will gain valuable insights into topics such as grazing principles, financial management, cash flow analysis, paddock design, predator prevention and integrating small ruminants with cattle.
In addition to Kenyon's presentations, a farmer panel will share practical ideas and discuss infrastructure solutions to help participants implement adaptive grazing techniques on their own farms.
A complimentary meal will be provided.
