Using a 1 3/4-inch attack line, firefighters cooled the exposure and extinguished the shed fire from the structure's exterior. Additional crews arrived to assist with extinguishing the fire and conducting overhaul operations.
A total of 12 firefighters and five pieces of equipment were on the scene for approximately two hours. The shed and its contents were a total loss, while the garage exposure suffered exterior damage only.
The fire is currently under investigation but appears to have been accidental, the release said. No injuries have been reported.
The Bemidji Ambulance assisted the Bemidji Fire Department at the scene.
