BEMIDJI — Four Pines Bookstore will host local author Anton Treuer at 6 p.m. on Friday, July 12, at the bookstore, 102 Third St. NW.

"Where Wolves Don't Die" follows Ojibwe boy Ezra Cloud as he gets into a terrible fight with the neighborhood bully, Matt Schroeder. When Matt’s house burns down, Ezra becomes the prime suspect. Innocent, Ezra’s family sends him to Canada to stay with his grandfather, yet the Schroeders are looking for him.
