BEMIDJI 鈥� Four Pines Bookstore will host Minnesota author Justin Holley at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 14, at the bookstore, 102 Third St. NW.

Holley鈥檚 new sci-fi book, follows FBI agent Kendra Omen as she travels to a titanium mine on Zeta One, a moon orbiting the planet Terra.

"When Omen starts investigating the death of 37 miners, strange occurrences start happening and she has to travel down into the labyrinths of mine shafts and caverns to discover the truth," a release said.

Holley is also the author of "Blood from the Stars," "Tethered to Darkness," "Seven Cleopatra Hill," the "Bruised" trilogy and several short stories.

The event is free, but attendees must pre-register.
