City to approve special event permits for Bemidji Open, D-Feet Hearing Loss Walk

Tonight's city council meeting will feature a hefty consent agenda, public comment and committee reports.

BEMIDJI — The Bemidji City Council will join for a meeting, a day later than usual following Martin Luther King Jr. Day for a regular meeting.

Here, the council will work through the consent agenda which includes approving the purchase of replacement pumps for the waste water tower facility for $22,562; the purchase of two 2024 Ram 2500 pickup trucks for $93,294; a proposal from Bradco Restoration for the Paul Bunyan Statue for $25,000; the appointment of Josefina Li to the Sustainability Commission; and two special event permits: one for the Bemidji Open-Disc Golf Club to host Bemidji Open and another for the Minnesota Lion's hearing Foundation to host the D-Feet Hearing Loss Walk.
