Buena Vista Ski Area to hold 75th Anniversary Celebration, Honor Our Troops weekend

Buena Vista Ski Area will hold a 75th Anniversary Celebration at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22, and offer discounts for military and law enforcement members and their family members Feb. 22-23.

BEMIDJI — Buena Vista is set to host several fun events this weekend, at 19600 Irvine Ave. NW.

Starting at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22, attendees can help Buena Vista celebrate its 75th season with a special program, music, cake, free drawings and more, a release said.

Military and law enforcement members can get special discounts during Honor Our Troops days on Saturday, Feb. 22, and Sunday, Feb. 23.

The discount will be $42 for a lift ticket, $20 ski rental and $25 snowboard rental.

Immediate family members are also included in this special offer, the release said.

Buena Vista will be open for skiing and snowboarding from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22, and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 23.

Snow tubing is also available from noon to 6 p.m. on both days with an online reservation.
