Six speakers will share their insights on a wide variety of topics, including the power of curiosity in communication, self-branding, how crucial over-serving the ordinary may be, balancing one's work life, a creative woodworking journey and the possibilities of approaching life more playfully.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and participants should arrive early to the show due to limited seating.

"We hope that those who share a passion for knowledge and creative fun can join us," the release said.

This event is free and open to the public. Pizza and snacks will be provided and attendees will have the chance to win prizes.

Our newsroom sometimes reports stories under the byline "Pioneer Staff Report." This byline is used when reporters rewrite basic news briefs that originate from official sources, such as an email or press release that requires little or no reporting.

Other times, this byline is used when a news story includes numerous authors or when the story is formed by aggregating previously reported news from various sources. If outside sources are used, it is noted within the story.
