Bemidji Senior Center to host pancake fundraiser, matter of balance classes

The Bemidji Senior Center will host its monthly pancake breakfast fundraiser from 8 to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 12, and matter of balance classes April 11-May 30, at the center.

BEMIDJI — The Bemidji Senior Center will host its monthly pancake breakfast fundraiser and a matter of balance class series this April, at the center, 216 Third St. NW.

The breakfast will be held from 8 to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 12.

The cost is $7 for adults and children 12 and older; $3.50 for children ages 5 to 11; and free for ages 4 and younger. The meal includes sausage, pancakes and milk.

All profits will benefit the Bemidji Senior Center.

The matter of balance course will meet at 9:30 a.m. on Fridays, April 11 to May 30. Trained facilitators Lanee Paulson and Candy Petron will lead participants through the eight-week program.

Attendees must commit to attending at least five of the eight two-hour sessions, the release said.

This class is free and open to all seniors until filled.
