MORRIS, Minn. 鈥� Two brothers involved in the murder of their mother were sentenced to prison Monday, while the third has been released after a judge concluded he played a more 鈥減assive鈥� role in the crime.
Jacob Seth Cobb, 18, Dylan Cody Clemens, 26, and Andrew Quinton Cobb, 19, all appeared before Judge Gerald Seibel in Stevens County District Court for sentencing in the murder of their mother, 50-year-old Tamara Lee Mason.

Jacob Cobb was sentenced to 15 years after pleading guilty to second degree murder and third degree assault.
Clemens was sentenced to nearly eight years after pleading guilty to being an accessory after the fact to Mason鈥檚 murder.
Jacob Cobb was accused of strangling his mother at their Alberta, Minn. home, then his brother Andrew allegedly put a plastic bag over her head and tightened a belt around her neck. Mason was reported missing on Dec. 27, 2010 by Clemens. Her body, driven to South Dakota and back again by Clemens, was found in July 2011, buried in the back yard of her home.
Andrew Cobb also pleaded guilty to being an accessory. Seibel sentenced him to 22 陆 months in prison. As a result of credit for time already served, Andrew was released after Monday's hearing.
Seibel said it appeared that Andrew played a 鈥渕ore passive than active鈥� role in Mason鈥檚 death.
