BENA -- The Leech Lake Tribal Council will host the 鈥�2017 Kid鈥檚 Perch Jerk鈥� ice fishing contest from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 11, on Lake Winnibigosh at Denny鈥檚 Resort in Bena. The contest is open for all area youth younger than 16 years of age. Along with the regular ice fishing contest, there will be a contest for biggest fish, numerous door prizes including bikes and some games to participate in.
