CROMWELL, Minn. (AP) - Two people have been arrested in a Carlton County highway crash that killed a pickup driver and his passenger.
The Minnesota State Patrol says a car driven by a 26-year-old Cloquet woman crossed the center line on Highway 210 near Cromwell Monday and struck the pickup. The truck veered into oncoming traffic and sideswiped a vehicle pulling a trailer.

The pickup driver, 25-year-old Zachary Gamache of Esko, and his 29-year-old passenger, Mitchell Lingren of Duluth, were killed. The Cloquet woman was arrested on suspicion of criminal vehicular operation. Her passenger fled the scene and was later arrested on an outstanding warrant.
The Star Tribune says no one else was injured.
