Watermark's annual high school invitational opens April 4

BEMIDJI — Watermark Art Center's annual high school invitational show opens Friday, April 4, with a reception from 5 to 6:30 p.m., at Watermark, 505 Bemidji Ave. N.

Student work from high school art programs at Bemidji, Cass Lake-Bena, Cass Lake Area Learning Center, Laporte, TrekNorth and Voyageurs high schools will be on display in Watermark's Kaul Gallery.

April visitors to the exhibition will have the opportunity to cast ballots for their favorite pieces, including photography, painting, mixed media and more. The last day to vote in the People's Choice awards is April 19.

The annual high school show is one of Watermark's most highly attended exhibits, a release said. Work will be displayed through April 25 with awards presented on April 24.

This event is free and open to the public. The 2025 high school show is made possible in part by financial support from First National Bank Bemidji.
