WALKER — The Walker Bay Theater opens its 16th season with "Caught in the Villain's Web" at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12, at the theater, 609 Minnesota Ave. W.

"Twists and turns will certainly abound when Walker Bay Theater opens their summer season with 'Caught in the Villain's Web,' a delightful melodrama," a release said. "This production was previously performed by the Birchwood Players in Walker in 1984."

The show opens Wednesday, June 12, and continues at 7 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and at 3 p.m. on Wednesdays and Sundays through June 23.

This production is directed by Lori Gamache, who was a member of the 1984 presentation. The cast features 10 local actors, including members from Park Rapids, Laporte and Walker. Six of the performers are Gamache family members.

Tickets cost $20 for adults and $15 for seniors and students. Season passes are available.

Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Groups of 10 or more can make requests for reserved seating, the release said.
