BEMIDJI — The public is invited to join in a free and inclusive music and creative arts gathering from 4 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, June 21, at the Rail River Folk حلحلآ‏»­, 303 Railroad St. SW.

The event is a celebration of the creative spirit of the season featuring artists, musicians and food vendors, a release said.

Featured creatives include Art by Heather Lynn (art and jewelry); AlexAsmo (crocheted wearables, accessories, and plushies); Swamp Hill Carpentry (woodturned bowls and finished products); Kai's Creations (earrings for those with a whimsical personal expression); Molly Turner (fiber art); and Diamond (paintings).

Live music will kick off at 6 p.m. with Doyle Turner, followed by Two Hearted, made up of John Henningsgaard and Lance Heddan.

Glitterstime will offer glitter face painting at the event. Casperz Burger Joint will be set up outside, vending their smash buttered burgers.

Summer Muse Festival is free and open to the public. The mission of the event series is to facilitate an environment for the local community to share and experience creative arts, explained the release.
