BEMIDJI — Community members are invited to attend an exhibition of Maria Rosa Cabo's works from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 19, at Salt Spa, 2512 Hannah Ave. NW.

"She has a deep appreciation for both traditional techniques and cultural expression," a release said. "Her subject matter is as diverse as her technique — bold, expressive, and deeply personal."

Salt Spa services will also be available during the event, and attendees can enjoy wine and tequila tastings and hors d'oeuvres donated by Mi Rancho and Northern Liquors.

Ten percent of all art sale proceeds will be donated to Colors of Cancer Bemidji, a nonprofit dedicated to helping families facing cancer in the area, the release said.

The cost is $50 and the event is open to the public. To RSVP, call the Salt Spa at (218) 497-0143.

Other times, this byline is used when a news story includes numerous authors or when the story is formed by aggregating previously reported news from various sources. If outside sources are used, it is noted within the story.
