Spanning decades of his family’s life, Pederson’s books rekindle memories in those with similar childhood experiences, according to a KRLS news release. A former pastor, Pederson uses his storytelling skills to help people connect in a challenging yet beautiful world.

There will be a question-and-answer session and book signing at the end of Pederson’s presentation. Titles are available individually and in Book Club in a Bag kits in the KRLS catalog, the release states.

This free Legacy Program is funded, at least in part, through legislation preserving Minnesota’s arts and cultural heritage. For more information, visit or follow KRLS on

Our newsroom occasionally reports stories under a byline of "staff." Often, the "staff" byline is used when rewriting basic news briefs that originate from official sources, such as a city press release about a road closure, and which require little or no reporting. At times, this byline is used when a news story includes numerous authors or when the story is formed by aggregating previously reported news from various sources. If outside sources are used, it is noted within the story.
