BEMIDJI — Loon Country Arts is set to host a series of free art classes from June 18 to July 26, at 310 Fourth St. NW.

The summer class schedule is as follows:
1 to 3 p.m. on June 18: "Design Reflections of Your Name" with artist Charles Alberti. Participants ages 16 and up will work with colored pencils.
1 to 3 p.m. on June 19: "Minnesota Lake Scene" with artist Annette Mayer. Attendees age 18 and up will use acrylics to create landscape art.
1 to 3 p.m. on June 20: Participants age 18 and up are invited to join a "Catch All" basketmaking class with artist Eileen Spilman.
11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on June 21: "Northern Landscape with Paper Birch Tree" with artist John Winter. This is a watercolor class for ages 17 and up.
2 to 4 p.m. on June 21: "Wire Lace Pendant" wire wrapping with artist Kathy Sanders is for ages 16 and up.
11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on June 27: "Line and Wash Daisy" with artist Lily Hadrava. Participants age 18 and up will work on watercolor techniques.

11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on June 28: Attendees age 17 and up can "Paint a Chickadee in a Birch Tree" in watercolors with artist John Winter.
2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on June 28: "Nosy Gnome" needle felting with artist Lanee Paulson is geared toward ages 16 and up.
2 to 4 p.m. on July 11: Participants age 18 and up can make a "Crazy Zebra" watercolor painting with artist Donna Andersen.
1 to 3 p.m. on July 12: "Robin on Apple Blossom Tree" watercolors with artist Lily Hadrava is for ages 18 and up.
10 a.m. to noon on July 19: Participants age 16 and up will learn "Watercolor Pencil Techniques" with artist Les Sanders.
2 to 4 p.m. on July 19: Attendees age 16 and up can "Discover Abstract Acrylics" with artist Frank Tebay.
1 to 3 p.m. on July 26: "Fun with Pen and Watercolor Sketches" watercolors with artist Tami Montgomery-Henriksen is for ages 18 and up.
