Schoepel will discuss how to diagnose and treat vascular conditions, including abdominal aortic aneurysms, venous disease and varicose veins, and peripheral and carotid artery disease. He will also share information about the noninvasive vascular lab he uses to diagnose vascular disease early with the help of ultrasound technology, the release said.

"Our biggest battle is always awareness," Schoepel said in the release. "It’s making people aware that these problems are not insignificant, and they have significant, bad consequences if ignored."

Our newsroom sometimes reports stories under the byline "Pioneer Staff Report." This byline is used when reporters rewrite basic news briefs that originate from official sources, such as an email or press release that requires little or no reporting.

Other times, this byline is used when a news story includes numerous authors or when the story is formed by aggregating previously reported news from various sources. If outside sources are used, it is noted within the story.
