Bemidji Senior Center to offer Medicare class April 2

BEMIDJI — The Bemidji Senior Center will host Senior LinkAge Line for a money-saving programs and services event at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 2, at the senior center, 216 Third St. NW.

Attendees will learn about programs that can lower Medicare premiums, deductibles and out-of-pocket costs, a release said.

The presentation will cover who qualifies for these programs, how to apply for assistance and program benefits. Presenters will also go over Medicare preventive services like free screenings, vaccines and wellness visits, explained the release.
