Sunshine, pleasant summer temperatures, a wide variety of food truck options and a pair of musical acts made for the perfect outing.</p> <br> <br> <p>Early in the event, Miles 4 Mentors brought dozens of children together for one of its summer fun run events. At the same time, Pirates, Guitars &amp; Beachfront Bars provided some beach vibes music while dressed in vibrant aloha shirts before turning the stage over to Free and Easy, who provided tunes to dance to well into the evening.</p> <br> <br> <p>Next week, West Addison Blues takes the stage at 5 p.m., while Queen tribute band, The Crown Jewels Band, will take the stage at 6:30 p.m. July 25. In addition to the music, the event includes free kids activities, food trucks and vendors, a beer and wine tent, local craft market and a free shuttle from three convenient park and ride locations.</p> <br> <br> <p>The concerts will take place in Robbins Island Regional Park in Willmar from 5 to 9 p.m. The opening act starts at 5 p.m. and the headliner starts at 6:30. He plays most of the instruments on his recordings. He has released four albums of his music.</p> <br> <p>The four Rockin' Robbins shows take place on Tuesday evenings in July and August, starting at 5 p.m., with the headliner taking the stage at 7:30 p.m. In addition to the music, there are many food vendors, a beer and wine tent, the Foot Lake vendor market and kids activities. A shuttle bus conveniently picks up and drops off visitors from three park-and-ride lots in Willmar.</p> <br> <br> <p>Rockin' Robbins was started in 2016 by the two Rotary clubs in Willmar, who were inspired by a similar project by the Rotary Club of St. Cloud called Summertime by George. The concerts have been an annual event since the start, minus a pandemic-caused cancellation in 2020.
