BEMIDJI — During a celebration on Oct. 23 at Northwest Technical College, 35 students were presented with scholarships totaling $62,000 from NTC and the NTC Foundation.

The following students from the surrounding area were awarded scholarships:

Bagley: Ember Butterfield received the Sanford Health Scholarship.

Bemidji: Lilee Bock received the Fred Breen Scholarship. Nicole Dennis received the George W. Neilson Foundation Scholarship. Megan Heveron received the Fred Breen Scholarship. Breann Lucio received the George W. Neilson Foundation Scholarship. Emma Neubeck received the Mississippi Headwaters Blood Bank Scholarship and the Sanford Health Scholarship. Joshua Olorunyemi received the Paul Bunyan Communications Scholarship. Patricia Valenzuela received the Sanford Health Scholarship. Everett Weideman received the Fred Breen Scholarship.

Cass Lake: Tyrell Jackson received the Delta Dental Equity and Education Program Scholarship. Antavia Pendegayosh received the Delta Dental Equity and Education Program Scholarship.

Laporte: Alexia Adkins received the Sanford Health Scholarship. Laurel Robinson received the Sanford Health Scholarship. Owen Tisland received the Paul Bunyan Vintage Auto Club Scholarship.

McIntosh: Katie Finseth received the George W. Neilson Foundation Scholarship.

Ponemah: Lorenzo White received the George W. Neilson Foundation Scholarship.

Red Lake: Inez Sigana received the Rundell Education Fund Scholarship.

Redby: Victoria Seki received the Sanford Health Scholarship.

Walker: Natalie Haglund received the Sanford Health Scholarship.
