LA CROSSE, Wis. — Annika Nelson and Seth Newby of Bemidji were named to the dean's list at the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse for earning a 3.5 GPA or higher while enrolled in 12 credits during the spring 2025 semester.

BROOKINGS, S.D. — Ella Tingum of Bemidji and Haley Mouser of Tenstrike were named to the dean's list at South Dakota State University for earning a GPA of at least 3.5 while completing a minimum of 12 credits during the spring 2025 semester.

STEVENS POINT, Wis. — Two Bemidji students were named to the spring 2025 honors list at the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point.

Joshua Fulton was named to the highest honors list for earning a GPA between 3.90 and 4.0. Dylan Onofreychuk was named to the honors list for achieving a GPA of 3.50 to 3.74.

DUBUQUE, Iowa — Bryce Kondos of Laporte was named to the spring 2025 dean's list at Clarke University in Dubuque, Iowa, for earning a 3.65 GPA while taking at least 12 credit hours during the semester.

ATHENS, Ohio — Beth Simons of Bemidji received a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine.

MOORHEAD — The following students were recognized at spring commencement at Minnesota State University - Moorhead for graduating in spring or summer 2025:

Bemidji: Christian Heglund graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Studies. Jacy Knoblauch graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech/Language/Hearing Science. Katarina Malterud graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech/Language/Hearing Science. Mia Sweeney graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in University Studies.

Fosston: Emily Chalich graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology: Health and Medical Sciences.
