Magnan has been a valued volunteer at Lakeland PBS. Her dedication and sweet smile are something everyone looks forward to during member mailing drives, a release said.
Thanks to Magnan's work, Lakeland members stay informed and engaged in our local programs, events and so much more.
"Having volunteers we can depend on is invaluable; it keeps our organization running smoothly, and for that we are truly grateful," Lakeland said in the release. "Betty's passion for Lakeland PBS speaks volumes, and we are a better organization for it."
Wasnuk has been volunteering with Lakeland News since September 2022. Lakeland News would never have been able to reach its 27th anniversary this year without the dedicated volunteers who run cameras and direct on the floor during the newscast, the release said.
Wasnuk's eagerness to get involved at Lakeland PBS and try out new tasks and his friendly attitude have made him a staple on the team.
"We rely on those that are dedicated, communicative, and a joy to have around, and Sam is all of those things," the release said. "Thank you, Sam, for all you have done for the Lakeland News team and for helping keep our communities informed and connected."
