The entrance fee will cost $5, with 80% of the fee being donated to the Northwoods Battered Women’s Shelter’s capital campaign.

“All donations will go toward our capital campaign (to build a new shelter)," Michelle Carlson, assistant director of the Northwoods Battered Women's Shelter, said in the release. "Building a new shelter offers privacy, dignity, and a chance to work toward moving on from intimate partner violence for our participants. It will also allow us to double the capacity of participants we can help."

In previous years, this event has featured vendors such as florists, jewelers, fitness groups, yoga studios, spas, travel advisors, financial advisors, home improvement specialists, boutiques, photographers and more.

The event is currently seeking vendors. Those who are interested in becoming a vendor should contact event manager Malaak Khattab at mkhattab@thesanfordcenter.com.

Northern Minnesota’s Women’s Expo is sponsored in part by Sanford Health and TruStar Federal Credit Union.
