Local libraries to host StarLab planetarium programs June 21, July 8

Lake Agassiz Regional Library will host StarLab programs at 1:30 and 2:15 p.m. on Friday, June 21, at the Fosston Public Library, and at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 8, at the McIntosh Public Library.

FOSSTON — Local libraries will host StarLab programs as part of Lake Agassiz Regional Library's outer space-themed Summer Library Experience, inviting area youth to learn about stars, constellations and how planets appear in the night sky.

The StarLab is a portable planetarium from the Headwaters Science Center. The visits are geared toward youth ages 5 and up, but open to all free of charge.

The Fosston Public Library will host StarLab programs at 1:30 and 2:15 p.m. on Friday, June 21, at the library, 403 N Foss Ave. To register, visit   or call the library at (218) 435-1320.

The McIntosh Public Library will host the program at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 8, at the library, 115 NW. Broadway. Registration is not required, but those interested can call the library at  (218) 563-4555 to learn more.
