SHEVLIN 鈥� The Minnesota Alliance of Local History Museums awarded one of its 2025 Outstanding Volunteer Awards to Carol Sundquist for her work at the Clearwater County Historical Society.
A total of 18 volunteers from local history organizations throughout the state were honored at the Alliance's Annual Meeting and Conference held April 23 at the Kellerman鈥檚 Event Center in White Bear Lake, Minn.

鈥淢any volunteers across Minnesota dedicate their time and resources to preserve and share our collective history," Alliance Coordinator Liz Koele said in a release. "We want to celebrate their contributions on a statewide level year after year."
Sundquist is a longtime volunteer at the Clearwater County Historical Society Museum in Shevlin. She focuses on filing obituaries and helping with genealogy requests.
The Historical Society recognized Sundquist for this honor on May 19 at the Clearwater County History Center.
The Alliance has honored 84 individuals since the program started three years ago, the release said.
